Development of Holographic Technology
The theoretical foundation and initial research of holographic technology originated primarily in Western countries. With the globalization of computing and digital processing technologies, Asian countries such as China, Japan, and South Korea have also made significant contributions in the field of holographic technology. In Japan, companies have applied holographic technology extensively in consumer electronics and entertainment, developing various holographic display devices and applications including holographic advertising and games. In recent years, China has also achieved notable advancements in research and applications, particularly in areas like 3D holographic display and holographic communication, introducing competitive products like the 3D holographic fan, which has matured and entered global markets during this period.
What is a 3D Holographic Fan?
A 3D holographic fan, also known as a 3D holographic fan projector or 3D holographic fan display, utilizes high-speed rotating LED strips. By precisely controlling the switching time and brightness of each LED, combined with the phenomenon of persistence of vision (POV), it displays three-dimensional images in mid-air.
Technological Principle:
The core principle of a 3D holographic fan lies in persistence of vision—after viewing an object, the image remains on the retina for a short period, typically tens of milliseconds. The LED strips of the holographic fan rotate rapidly on an arm, forming a complete image in the air. The control system decomposes inputted three-dimensional models and slices them to correspond to different positions of the rotating arm. This precise display of image slices at different angles, due to the high rotation speed, creates a continuous three-dimensional effect visually, producing realistic 3D visuals.
Features:
High Definition Quality: Equipped with independent control chips and high-brightness LED beads, it presents detailed and clear images with reduced graininess.
High Efficiency, Low Power Consumption: Utilizes low-power brushless DC motors for high-speed rotation and low energy consumption, ensuring stable operation and longer lifespan.
